    *This is a benefited, full time position working Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm. No holidays or weekends. Located in the Cancer Treatment Room at Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines in La Jolla with travel other sites as needed. *

    *What you'll do: *

    * Rooming patients, checking vitals, assisting with procedures

    * EKGs

    * Maintains a clean, organized, and safe environment

    * Collecting patient data in person and by phone

    * Stocking and reorganizing supplies

    * Ordering supplies

    * Check in with patients throughout their appointment to ensure they are comfortable for their chemo treatment

    *Required Certification/Registration:*

    * Completion of a formal Medical Assistant Program OR hold a Medical Assistant Certification OR have a minimum of two years of experience as a military corpsman

    * BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA)

    *Preferred Qualifications:*

    * 1 year of experience working as Medical Assistant

    * EKG experience

    * Oncology experience

    * Assisting with procedures
