    About this Role

     

    The ComTran Group, Inc. is in need of an Inside Plant (ISP) Fiber Technician for repair and maintenance for Inside Plant for Google.

     

    What You'll Do

     

    + This position is responsible for Reactive and Preventive maintenance and repairs to hubs, cabinets, etc,

    + Service and maintain equipment inside huts, cage sites and cabinets

    + Respond to outages

    + Troubleshoot and repair servers and routers

    + Answer and respond to outages after-hours and weekends when on call

     

    What You'll Bring

     

    + In depth knowledge of fiber signaling and internet protocol

    + Installation of data center infrastructure

    + Knowledge of specialty tools including but not limited to OTDR, power meters, VFL, etc,

    + Great driving record

    + Clean Background
