Mojang Studios is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to craft delightful, Minecrafty experiences that inspire creativity, community, and a love of learning. You’ll lead development of foundational UI systems and build new experiences in collaboration with designers, artists, and other engineering partners. In this role you’ll be empowered to deliver user delight while applying mature engineering practices that lead to long-term scalability and product success.

+ Build new experiences in partnership with design to rapidly iterate and learn.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications** **:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 3+ years software engineering experience with web user interface (UI) technologies (such as ReactJS).
+ Experience using C++ to build desktop applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Cross platform (Windows/Android/iOS/macOS) or educational software development experience a plus
+ Clear and articulate written and verbal communication skills
+ Ability to quickly prototype, iterate, and take initiative to drive progress.
Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
