One Health is seeking a dynamic Prevention Health Coordinator to lead tobacco use prevention efforts while supporting broader health education initiatives—including cancer awareness , chronic disease prevention , and community outreach across rural Montana. Status: Full-Time | Non-Exempt | Travel Required

What You’ll Do:

+ Educate communities on cancer risks, screening resources, and healthy lifestyle choices.

+ Lead tobacco use prevention efforts through education, outreach, and advocacy.

+ Coordinate annual work plans and initiatives in partnership with the Montana Tobacco Use Prevention Program (MTUPP).

+ Train providers and community members on tobacco cessation and cancer prevention tools, resources and strategies.

+ Develop engaging materials and presentations tailored to rural populations.

+ Collaborate with local coalitions, schools, and health professionals to build strong partnerships and expand prevention efforts.

+ Advocate for policy change and support grassroots health initiatives.

+ Evaluate program effectiveness and adjust strategies to meet evolving community needs.

+ Communicate regularly through reports, presentations, and public engagement.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Experience in public health, education, or prevention work (1+ year required; 3+ years preferred).

+ Education : Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s in Public Health preferred.

+ Skills : Strong communication, organization, and self-motivation.

+ Tech-savvy : Comfortable with Microsoft Office and virtual collaboration.

+ Public speaking : Confident presenting to diverse audiences.
