    Compensation and Schedule for the Medical Assistant

    Medical Assistant – Full-time, onsite, $20-$23 per hour, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Join a fast-paced clinic with great benefits!

     

    Required Qualifications of the Medical Assistant

     

    - 3+ years of recent front and back office medical assistant experience required

     

    - Thoracic/lung experience preferred

     

    - Medical Assistant diploma or certification required

     

    - High school diploma or GED required

     

    - Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen

     

    Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant

     

    - Greet and room patients

     

    - Obtain vitals

     

    - Complete patient intake and record patient symptoms

     

    - Enter patient information into EMR system

     

    - Handle EKGs, INRs, and blood sugar checks

     

    - Prepare patients for provider

     

    - Handle patient callbacks when needed

     

    - Front office duties as needed
