THE POSITION
Take your real estate career to the next level with our Leasing Division! If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders while leading a team of Lease Contract Specialists, this job is for you. The Department of General Services is looking for a Lease Contract Specialist 3 to supervise and lead a team responsible for managing 400+ commercial leases occupied by Commonwealth agencies, Boards, and Commissions. Your hard work will deliver efficient operational space to our agency customers, all while serving as a responsible steward of taxpayer dollars.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Lease Contract Specialist 3, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to the General Government Leasing team with developing, negotiating, and managing complex real estate lease agreements that support Commonwealth's agencies and align with their strategic goals. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including agency leaders, legal counsel, and real estate professionals, develop and implement marketing strategies for solicitations, and oversee lease compliance enforcement. Additional functions include leading process improvement initiatives, analysis of lease metrics, portfolio trends, and market conditions.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
+ Full-time employment
+ Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
+ Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, two days a week in-office at management's discretion. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.
+ Candidate must also be able to travel to headquarters location and conduct site visits as required to perform essential job functions.
+ Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
+ One year of experience as a Lease Contract Specialist 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration);or
+ Two years of professional experience performing lease contract or property management work; and a bachelor’s degree;or
+ An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirement:
+ All positions require the possession and maintenance of an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C driver’s license or equivalent.
Additional Requirements:
+ You must have knowledge of real estate lease contract principles and best practices.
+ You must have experience with real estate lease administration.
+ You must have experience with property management.
+ You must be able to perform essential job functions.
