Work You'll Do
+ Design, build, and schedule ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) or ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) pipelines.
+ Connect disparate data sources, manage data ingestion, and ensure regular, reliable data delivery to storage targets.
+ Use tools such as Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, Informatica, or Python scripts for automation.
+ Administer cloud (AWS S3, Azure Blob) and on-premise storage (databases, filesystems, data lakes).
+ Monitor and optimize storage performance, backup, and retention policies.
+ Assist with data partitioning, archiving, and recovery processes.
+ Respond to team or stakeholder storage/pipeline service issues, investigating root causes and applying effective fixes.
+ Document and automate recurring support and remediation activities.
+ Work with business intelligence, analytics, application, and senior data engineering teams to meet project and operational needs.
+ Create and update pipeline, storage, and data flow documentation.
+ Suggest and deploy improvements in reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency for existing data flows and platforms.
+ Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies relevant to scalable data infrastructure.

Our Cyber Defense & Resilience offering assists clients in defending against advanced threats by transforming security operations, monitoring technology, data analytics, and threat intelligence. Helps manage and protect dynamic attack surfaces and provides rapid crisis and cyber incident response, ensuring clients can be ready for, respond to, and recover from business disruptions.
Qualifications
Required:
+ Bachelor's degree required.
+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
+ Active DOD Top Secret clearance required.
+ Must be able to work full time on-site.
+ Travel up to 15%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
+ 4+ years of experience implementing and managing data pipelines and storage infrastructure.
+ Must have one industry or relevant vendor certification such as Security+ or Red Hat or similar.
+ Database skills (SQL required; familiarity with NoSQL and cloud storage preferred).
+ Scripting/programming ability (Python, Bash, etc.).
+ Familiarity with networking, data modeling, and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $93,225.00- $155,375.00.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
