Job Summary:
The Technical Delivery Manager (TDM) is responsible for leading and driving the end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring timely, high-quality, and cost-effective project outcomes. The ideal candidate combines strong technical acumen with excellent leadership, communication, and delivery management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery Management
+ Lead and manage technical project delivery across multiple teams and stakeholders.
+ Oversee project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery within defined timelines and budgets.
+ Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and financial forecasts.
+ Ensure all phases of the project life cycle — initiation, execution, delivery, and closure are executed successfully.
Stakeholder Management
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for leadership, clients, and cross-functional teams.
+ Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals and deliverables.
+ Identify potential issues early and drive proactive resolution to maintain delivery momentum.
Team Leadership
+ Lead, coach, and mentor project and technical teams to foster collaboration and high performance.
+ Partner with technical leads to allocate resources efficiently and manage team capacity.
+ Provide guidance to resolve delivery or technical challenges.
Risk & Issue Management
+ Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
+ Maintain clear escalation paths and ensure timely intervention for critical risks.
Quality Assurance
+ Ensure that all deliverables meet quality, performance, and compliance standards.
+ Implement continuous improvement practices to enhance delivery efficiency and consistency.
Budget & Resource Management
+ Manage budgets and resource allocation to ensure optimal use of project investments.
+ Track financials, forecasts, and variances to maintain on-time, on-budget delivery.
Continuous Improvement
+ Champion best practices, tools, and methodologies for project delivery.
+ Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across teams.
Key Requirements
Education
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience
+ 10+ years of project management experience, including 7+ years in a technical delivery leadership role.
+ Proven success in delivering complex, large-scale technology projects in fast-paced environments.
+ Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum and hybrid project management methodologies.
Technical Skills
+ Strong understanding of software development (preferably Java and microservices-based architectures), infrastructure, and cloud technologies.
+ Experience using project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project, or similar.
+ Familiarity with Agile SDLC processes and modern DevOps practices.
+ Strong reporting, dashboarding, and metrics management skills.
Leadership & Communication
+ Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
+ Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
Problem-Solving
+ Strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to solve complex delivery and technical issues.
+ Strong decision-making and prioritization skills under pressure.
Certifications (Preferred)
+ PMP or Prince2 Certification
+ Agile Scrum Master (CSM/PSM)
+ ITIL Certification
Preferred Skills & Experience
+ Experience working in a client-facing environment.
+ Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps tools/practices.
+ Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards in technology delivery.
Working Conditions
+ Onsite position based in Seattle, WA.
+ Hybrid work model — 2–3 days in office per week.
+ Occasional travel may be required.

The base salary range for this position is $92,250 - $144,964 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays.
