Junior C#/.NET Application Support Programmer

Salary Range: $60,000–$90,000 per year + bonus potential

About the Role

We are seeking a Junior C#/.NET Application Support Programmer to join our growing IT team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a balance of hands-on application support and software development. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to support internal and external client applications, run automated processes, develop new features, and provide SQL-based data extracts and reporting.

This is a remote position, with preference given to candidates located on the East Coast for time zone alignment.

Key Responsibilities

+ Provide technical support, maintenance, and bug fixes for existing applications

+ Monitor, troubleshoot, and support nightly automation processes

+ Execute ad-hoc and scheduled processes and generate SQL reports

+ Collaborate with internal and external teams to onboard new clients and support system integrations

+ Develop and enhance new and existing applications using C# and ASP.NET

+ Maintain detailed documentation of code changes, SQL scripts, and workflows

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field

+ 2+ years of experience developing and supporting C#/.NET applications

+ Experience with .NET Framework 4.0+, ASP.NET, and CSS

+ Strong knowledge of SQL (Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle)

+ Experience writing complex SQL queries for reports and troubleshooting

+ Familiarity with Visual Studio 2019 or 2022

+ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Preferred Qualifications

+ Prior experience supporting production environments or application users

+ Exposure to agile or iterative development methodologies

+ Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
