Job Title: Accounting Assistant

Type: Contract

Compensation: $22/hr - $25/hr

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm

Our commercial and industrial construction client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis to help reconcile their accounting and support ongoing financial processes.

Focus includes:

+ Reconcile months and code transactions, preparing files for CPA year-end tax filing

+ Assist with vendor payables reconciliation and data entry into Foundation system

+ Support project closeouts and credit card tracking/reconciliation

+ Follow up on Accounts Receivable and maintain accurate filing

+ Data entry and assisting with purchase orders

+ Assist with payroll reports and ensure all new applicants’ information is complete for payroll entry

Targeting candidates with:

+ Experience in the construction industry

+ Familiarity with accounting systems, preferably Foundation

+ Strong organizational and time management skills

+ Detail-oriented and able to work under deadlines

+ Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
