This role will be based in San Francisco or Sunnyvale.

The R&D Talent Development (TD) Partner – IC and Early Career Development is responsible for strengthening the learning culture across the R&D organization, with a focus on individual contributors and early-career employees. This role designs and drives scalable, inclusive learning initiatives that enable employees to grow, contribute, and succeed at every stage of their career.
In close partnership with TD leaders, business stakeholders, and internal enablement teams, this role acts as a strategic program partner and learning experience designer, bringing consistency, creativity, and clarity to how R&D supports its growing talent pipeline.
This role brings strategic focus and learner-centered design to the R&D development ecosystem. It helps shape a consistent development experience across the organization and supports the long-term success of our talent pipeline.
Learning Strategy & Program Design
+ Lead the strategy and execution of individual contributor and early-career development initiatives across R&D.
+ Optimize 40/45/15 onboarding program to accelerate acculturation and time to performance.
+ Develop and manage multimodal learning campaigns that support growth mindsets, foundational skills, and continuous development.
+ Partner with R&D TD leadership to shape the learning culture for ICs, grounded in organizational needs and employee insights.
Learning Experience Innovation
+ Design and enhance learning experiences to accelerate connection, enablement, and retention across IC and early-career populations.
+ Monitor program effectiveness through learner feedback, manager input, and success metrics.
+ Identify opportunities to scale or evolve program learning touchpoints to ensure relevance and accessibility across R&D.
Measurement & Iteration
+ Define success metrics for IC and early-career learning programs.
+ Work with cross-functional team members to track and report on program health and business impact.
+ Collect learner feedback through surveys, pulse checks, and stakeholder conversations to continuously improve offerings.
Stakeholder Partnership
+ Serve as a trusted partner to R&D team leads, People team partners, and the DIBs teams to ensure learning experiences are inclusive, practical, and aligned with organizational goals.
+ Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure learning programs reflect business priorities and complement other enterprise-wide development efforts.
Basic Qualifications
+ BA/BS in L&D, HR or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
+ 3+ years' of work experience including at least 2+ years of experience in L&D.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Excellent facilitation skills and proven delivery of training programs, especially for individual contributors and early careers.
+ Expertise in designing, building and delivering learning offerings.
+ Excellent communication and presentations and public speaking skills.
+ Demonstrated experience in leading L&D initiatives within a fast-moving organization.
+ Capability of working autonomously and forming strong networks and working relationships.
+ Strong Project Management experience.
+ Strong international or cross-cultural work experience.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The pay range for this role is $90,000 to $146,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
