Boulder Beverage Server Arizona Charlie’s Boulder (Las Vegas, NV)

Description:

Summary: Takes, retrieves and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages courteously and efficiently according to job specification. Answers guest questions and provides outstanding guest service.

Essential Functions:

+ Inspect cleanliness and condition of assigned station and service areas; rectify any deficiencies.

+ Greet guests and take their orders. Anticipate guest’s needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, in a friendly and courteous manner.

+ Maintain complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers and non alcoholic selections available.

+ Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by the state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minor and intoxicated persons.

+ Be familiar with all hotel services/ features and provide information to guests, as needed

+ Answers guest questions, as needed

+ Legibly document orders when POS is down and distribute orders to respective Bartender for preparation of order.

+ Retrieve orders from Bar area and serve promptly to guests

+ Replace ashtrays within the Pit with 4 butts with clean ashtray by using capping method.

+ Follow all Clark County Health Codes.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Qualifications/Requirements:

+ Previous experience as a beverage server

+ One year experience as a beverage server in a bar, lounge, or hotel/casino environment preferred

+ Compute quickly and accurately basic mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers)

+ Ability to use computers and calculators

+ Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal

+ Excellent customer service and communication skills

+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred

+ At least 21 years of age

Physical Requirements

+ Walk, stand or stoop up to 100% of time.

+ Walk, stand, and/or crouch on narrow and/or slippery surfaces.

+ Frequently lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 15 pounds.

+ Use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity.

+ Working inside in a noisy, smoky, and hot or cold environment

+ Literacy, speech, vision, and hearing (critical)
