• Manufacturing Associate - Mechanical I (Hand Add)

    The Manufacturing Associate – Mechanical is responsible for manufacturing of printed circuit board assemblies to specification and in a timely manner.

    What you’ll do:

    + Navigate and perform transactions in Smarter Production System

    + Follow safety protocols, material handling process, and written work instructions

    + Set-up and operate press fit and detab machines

    + Press components into circuit boards

    + Perform torque testing and 1st piece run inspection process

    + Maintain the condition of fixtures, tooling, and detab equipment

    + Work with Coordinator and Engineering to improve processing

    + Maintain a clean work area

    + Performs other duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    What you’ll need:

    + Basic proficiency in computer systems including Microsoft Excel (vlookups, etc), Office, and Outlook

    + Read, understand & write English

    + Ability to work well with others or by themselves

    + Detail-oriented

    + Able to demonstrate sound decision making and mechanical ability

    + Work safely in a manufacturing environment

     

    Education and/or Experience

     

    + High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

    + Experience using electronics prep tools

    + Knowledge and use of IPC 610 and J-STD

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience with pneumatic presses, machine set-up, and/or prepping electronics components

    + Soldering PCBA’s
