Job Purpose & Scope
Designs and develops instructional solutions for Learning and Development and conducts analysis that provides insights for improvements to learning solutions.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
+ Knowledgeable in instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and the psychology of learning.
+ Ability to demonstrate effective decision-making and conflict management skills.
+ Ability to design and deliver effective training solutions to reach various levels of learning.
+ Ability to develop courses from standard operating procedures or subject research.
+ Ability to demonstrate effective project management and organizational skills.
+ Ability to demonstrate professionalism and work effectively with leaders and employees at all levels.
+ Ability to build effective partnerships with clients, peers, and leaders.
+ Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
+ Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks with exacting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
+ Ability to work with minimal supervision.
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality.
+ Ability to adapt and learn new software quickly.
+ Skill in using design and project management software and LMS and HRIS technology.
+ Skill and proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Camtasia, and Articulate 360.
+ Skill in using computer and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Basic Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, adult learning, organizational behavior, or other job-related field, or commensurate work experience, required.
+ 2+ years of work experience in curriculum and training development, learning and development, or other directly related experience, required.
+ 1+ year experience developing learning solutions using e-learning software, required.
+ 1+ year experience in audio and video editing, required.
+ 1+ year of work experience in a financial institution, preferred.
