Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Ionic Mobile Developer to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-level applications using Angular, Ionic Framework, Capacitor . You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions and ensure the highest standards of software quality.

Roles & Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Lead Ionic Mobile Developer with 9 to 12 years of experience in Android, iOS using Ionic Framework using Angular and Capacitor. The ideal candidate will work remote , focusing on creating innovative mobile applications that enhance user experience. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that align with business objectives

Required Qualifications:

• Lead the design and development of mobile Android, iOS applications using, Angular Ionic Framework and Capacitor

• API Manager, Angular 13-16, Ionic, Capacitor, Ionic Framework

• Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Oversee the entire application lifecycle, including concept, design, testing, release, and support.

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications by conducting rigorous testing and debugging.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

• Implement best practices in coding, testing, and deployment to ensure high standards of software quality.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and functionalities into existing applications.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into projects.

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring a seamless user experience.

• Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that all tasks are completed on schedule.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any issues or concerns.

• Contribute to the development of technical documentation and user guides to support application deployment and maintenance.

• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency across the development team

Salary and Other Compensation

Applications will be accepted until November 3, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $81,337 - $141,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
