    The Work You Will Do:

    E&O Workforce Development Coordinator under the Assistant Secretary for Engineering and Operations.

     

    This position will coordinate statewide workforce development program, leading statewide efforts for Engineering and Operations (E&O). Planning, developing and implementing policies and programs, identifying needs, analyzing, and recommending solutions or alternative methods for the Workforce Development program to ensure success.

    Your Specific Responsibilities:

    Serve as Workforce Development Coordinator. Coordinate the statewide workforce development program, leading statewide efforts for Engineering and Operations (E&O). Plan, develop and implement policies and programs. Review the workforce development program, identifying needs and barriers, analyzing the program for improvements, and recommending solutions or alternative methods to management for improvement. Confers with team members to ensure successful operation.

     

    Serve as the Training lead and coordinator for Engineering and Operations (E&O). Lead the development, implementation, monitoring and assessment of these programs. Cross communicates initiatives and develops an interdisciplinary team that can ensure protocols and practices are implemented within the areas. Prepare training materials and reports as needed. Work with staff, partners, and the public to create a safety and training culture.

     

    Assist with the Professional Engineer Trainee Program. Updates policies and procedures as needed. Coordinate statewide efforts of the Program, including the Central Office Phase planning, which includes but not limited to directing activities, presenting materials, and coordinating schedules.

     

    Serves as the lead for the E&O Awards program, maintaining the procedure, ensuring compliance and championing the program initiative.

     

    Serve as the E&O Employee Survey Analyst. Gathering data, producing action plans, reporting results and detailed analysis of the annual survey. Provide an overview of the Statewide Survey and analysis.

    + This position will be required to respond before, during and following emergency situations.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Two years of experience in training/education, organizational/staff development, personnel or an agency program area. An associate’s degree can substitute for the required work experience
