    Compensation:

    + Competitive starting pay rate **$19.72-$22.39**

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities of a Grinder/Repel Operator

    + Separates and grinds scrap material into the designated scrap bins.

    + Operate all aspects of a repel line, including start-up, shut down, changing filters & screens, clearing jams, etc.

    + Checks grinding machine dust collector daily and empties as needed

    + KeepsGrindingRoom clean and organized fornextshift.

    + Identifiesand differentiates various materials used throughout the plant.

    + Lifts heavy objects by hand and cleans work area, machines, and equipment to assistExtrusion operators.

    + Complete necessary paperwork.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be able to read and write in English.

    + Must be able to perform basic to intermediate math. (addition,subtraction,multiplicationand division)

    + Experience: 6 to 9 months related experience/training; experience preferred, notrequired.

    Skills:

    + Mechanical aptitude; detail oriented; ability to meet projectdeadlines.

    Physical Demand:

    + Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and clothing, when required, such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat/bump cap, hair/beard net and gloves

    + Ability to stand, walk, twist, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, bend throughout the duration of the scheduled shift

    + Prolonged standing while performing the duties of the job

    + Job requires high level of manual dexterity with repetitive use of hands, shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, and ankles
