As a Lead Project Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing critical projects to deliver innovative solutions and drive business success. You will be responsible for providing technical expertise, guidance, and mentorship to project teams, ensuring the successful execution of projects within scope, budget, and timeline. Your strong leadership skills, technical proficiency, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will be instrumental in achieving project objectives and exceeding customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
+ **Planning** : Conduct Engineering Part Assessments (EPA), Technical Design Reviews (TDR), and Engineering Cost Estimates (ECEs).
+ Execution: Manage open actions from EPA/TDR by completing all necessary validation requirements. Responsible for additional requirements, including Engine Test, Controlled Process Machining (CPM), and Critical to Quality (CTQs).
+ **Team Leadership** : Lead cross-functional teams to meet requirement specifications. Collaborate closely with various departments, including Material Engineering and Design Authority, to fulfill validation requirements and ensure alignment.
+ **Change Management** : Oversee any drawing changes (updates, SS1) by driving the identification, creation, approval process, and release of Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
+ **Testing Coordination** : Liaise with Operations and Engineering teams to drive engine tests, including asset identification, test procedure development, engine assembly, execution, and post-test activities (RCCAs).
+ **Risk Management** : Identify and manage risks and opportunities impacting the scope of work. Provide technical support in answering questions related to part design and functionality.
+ **Budget Management** : Manage momentum budgets, compile forecasts, and assign charge numbers as needed.
YOU MUST HAVE
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
+ Experience in manufacturing engineering processes and methodologies.
+ Strong understanding of Honeywell organizational structure and protocols.
+ Excellent communication and leadership skills.
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
+ Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
+ Experience implementing Honeywell Supplier Transformation Process (AG-5932)
