    As an **Advanced Field Service Engineer** here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide advanced technical support and expertise to our customers in the Industrial Automation business unit. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, ensuring the successful implementation of our solutions, and driving customer satisfaction. Your expertise and commitment to excellence will play a crucial role in the success of our field service operations and the growth of our business.

     

    You will report directly to our Field Service Engineering Manager, and you'll be servicing a Pulp and Paper Customer located in East Texas.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Preventive, Corrective, and Emergency maintenance of customer's Quality and Distributive Control Systems

    + Troubleshoot and solve system and process related problems

    + Perform Sensor verification and Calibration

    + Write Monthly Performance and Results Reports

    YOU MUST HAVE

    + 5+ years of experience in electronics and instrumentation within industrial automation environments

    + 3+ years of Quality Control System (QCS) experience

    + Experience with calibration, data analysis, and troubleshooting of measurement systems.

    WE VALUE

    + Proficient in one of the following platforms: DaVinci or Experion MX

    + Capable of learning available analysis tools to solve complex system or process problems

    + Capable of developing new Product Measurement Systems (PMS) for existing and new products, as process knowledge is gained

    + Design/Engineer solutions to prevent reoccurring problems, as knowledge is acquired

    + Capable of writing, reviewing, and/or editing various types of technical reports

    + Able to conduct formal meetings with customer management personnel

    + Capable of evaluating control effectiveness, as knowledge is acquired

    + Capable of verifying and calibrating sensors as well as possessing a working knowledge of sensor operations and correctors

    + Knowledge of system architecture and operations as well as applicable database items needed for basic maintenance and calibration

    + Project a positive and confident attitude focused on meeting and exceeding customer expectations
