US Core Retirement Actuarial Consultant
This is a hybrid role based in Atlanta, GA and we expect that, on average, you will be in the office 3 days per week.

What the day will look like
+ Manages routine and complex projects; supports growth of existing client relationships.
+ Communicates effectively in client situations (with key day-to-day contacts within Finance and HR function) and able to provide consulting advice.
+ Acts as project manager on most client accounts; may act as a client lead on smaller accounts.
+ Able to collaborate effectively; delegates deliverables appropriately within client team(s).
+ Uses analytical and communication skills to advise organizations in managing their retirement plans, including pension funding and accounting.
+ Uses discipline specific best practices and Aon delivery models, tools and resources.
+ Is familiar with market developments and how to introduce these appropriately to clients.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
+ 7+ years of experience within retirement/benefits Actuarial experience
+ Prior experience of working as an Actuarial Consultant preferred.
+ Ability to consult effectively and in detail with clients to offer appropriate solutions and identify opportunities to grow the business.
+ Outstanding communication skills with colleagues.
+ Excellent actuarial technical skills, including experience with ERISA funding rules and US GAAP pension accounting standards.
+ Qualification with Society of Actuaries (FSA or ASA) and/or Enrolled Actuary designation.
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Math, a related field, or equivalent years of industry experience.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $115,000 to $160,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
