JOB SUMMARY:
The Federal Services Data Analyst position will be responsible for the mining, manipulating, reporting, and communication of data relevant to the Federal Services portfolio of work. Utilizing advanced tools such as Power BI and Oracle provide key metrics for goal setting and tracking while implementing new ideas of data analytics incorporating AI and other innovative tools.

Qualifications:
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field required
Experience:
+ Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
+ Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as SQL, Python, R, Excel, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
+ High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.
+ Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Master’s degree in a related field.
+ Experience in the energy sector or a similar industry.
+ Relevant certifications such as Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) or Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate.
Knowledge & Skills:
+ Demonstrated research, data mining, and data analytics skills
+ Possess extensive attention to detail and ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets to identify trends, insights and/or solutions.
+ Ability to convert data into meaningful and actionable reports with assistance that successfully communicate information to management.
+ Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments along with good organization and time management skills.
+ Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
+ Familiarity with Oracle and Maximo.
+ Advanced Microsoft office skills (MS Word, Access, SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint.)
+ Excellent customer service skills, both internal and external.
+ Exhibit high level of personal responsibility to data analysis and independently set priorities of tasks amongst multiple assigned projects.
+ Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable recommendations
+ Advanced Proficiency of business analytics software and technical tools (Power BI and other)
+ Advanced level presentation of data analytical results
+ Ability to conduct trending and analysis to identify root causes and possible solutions
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Gather, clean, and interpret data from various sources to provide actionable insights.
+ Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and support business decision-making.
+ Create visual representations of data to communicate findings to stakeholders effectively.
+ Work closely with cross-functional teams, including APC, GPC, AGL, NICOR (marketing, finance, energy services) to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
+ Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing quality checks and validation processes.
+ Identify trends and patterns in complex data sets to predict future outcomes and support strategic initiatives.
+ Recommend and implement process improvements based on data analysis to enhance operational efficiency.
+ Maintain thorough documentation of data sources, methodologies, and processes for transparency and reproducibility.
+ Project billing, event coordination, marketing collateral.
+ Participate in special projects, as requested.
