    Job Description:

    This is a field-based role available in multiple states within the Northeast. While specific cities are listed in the Locations section for reference, please note that they are examples only and do not limit your application.     Responsibilities:

    + Lead and develop the Hematology MSL regional team; partner with the MSL Head to set and drive region-specific strategy; ensure strong clinical engagement across territories with regular strategy reviews.

    + Coach and develop direct-report MSLs using the competency model; provide ongoing feedback and field observations to ensure scientific acumen, presentation, and soft skills meet expectations.

    + Plan and execute Field Medical Affairs programs (including product launches, proactive initiatives, and HCP engagement); ensure MSLs implement listening priorities and collect Medical Insights.

    + Stay current on scientific information and disease states; model proficient discussions and coaching; oversee the collection and analysis of Medical Insights.

    + Provide leadership and people-management across the region (recruiting/retention, performance coaching, training and development, capacity planning, and cross-functional project management) with regulatory/compliance oversight.

    + Drive cross-functional collaboration and strategic execution: coordinate with Oncology Specialists, KAMs, Oncology Clinical Educators, and other stakeholders; co-develop regional TA strategy with the MSL Head; lead scientific projects and communicate team achievements and insights to internal partners.

    Required Qualifications:

    + A minimum of a master’s degree is required. PharmD, PhD, MD highly preferred.

    + Minimum of 8 years’ experience required;

    + 4-5 years of pharmaceutical industry, clinical/research experience is required and 2-3 years of MSL experience is required.

    + TA-related experience is required.

    + Previous people management responsibility is preferred.

     

    Requires regional travel of approx. 60% depending on geography (includes overnight travel); Ability to maintain an office in the home required. Must live in their assigned region and in close proximity to an airport. Must be available to attend periodic national scientific congresses and key strategic/scientific meetings at the corporate office in Horsham, PA/Titusville, NJ.

     

    The expected base pay range for this position is $160,000 to $276,000. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. This position is eligible for either a company car or a car allowance through the Company’s FLEET program.
