             Are you passionate about helping kids be their best selves? UPMC Children's Community Pediatrics is hiring a Part-Time Patient Services Representative to support the office in Shippensburg. Customer service or front desk experience preferred. Medical Office experience a plus. Responsibilities: + Patient Interaction: Greet patients, assist with check-in, collect copayments, and update information. + Scheduling: Arrange follow-up appointments and connect patients to services. + Support: Help patients navigate the healthcare system and provide clear instructions. + Technology: Register patients in Biometrics and promote MyUPMC portal. + Financial Advocacy: Educate patients on financial responsibilities and connect them to resources. + Compliance: Verify insurance, obtain consent signatures, and follow HIPAA regulations. + Admin Tasks: Handle phone calls, scan records, and perform office duties. + Completion of high school or equivalent. + Experience with personal computer-based applications, various office equipment, and proficient typing skills preferred. + Two years of experience in a medical, billing, fiscal, or customer service role preferred. + Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. + Prior experience with Medipac, Epic, or other health records systems preferred.
