+ **Pay Range:** $175,000.00 - $215,000.00 annually

Background to role
The Food program’s vision is to inspire and enable the world to make food choices and use food experiences to develop more sustainable lifestyles and communities. The program’s mission is to inspire and enable the community members to make food choices and enjoy food experiences that support them in being their best. Based on the program’s vision and mission, the Food Team has developed a clearly defined Food Program strategy that puts a strong emphasis on collaboration and innovation.
Role Summary
This is a senior strategic role, responsible for overseeing and directing the operational team and goals associated with micro-kitchens, warehouse operations, fleet management and equipment purchasing, maintenance and repairs in service to client priorities. This role sets the standards for operations; developing, articulating and communicating regional expectations and objectives; and supporting all levels and providing appropriate tools to ensure success, in close partnership with SVP Operations, Bay Area for a major high-tech client account.
A. Strategic Planning and Revenue/Growth Attainment
+ Strategic Growth: Create a persistent focus and sustainable strategy to ensure a high client satisfaction and collaboration with account-based regional leadership
+ P&L Ownership: Oversee and direct the region in achieving divisional financial and operational goals, ensuring accurate forecasting and adherence to budget
+ Asset Management: Approve and manage the deployment of all capital assets, including equipment, parts, and fleet.
+ Executive Review **:** Attend and engage in period-end Compass CEO/CFO operating reviews, Bay Area region leadership meetings and facilitating all client-facing Quarterly Business Discussions (QBDs).
+ Internal Partnership: Lead, develop, and support relationships with SVP Bay Area Operations, broader regional leadership on the account and sector and organization stakeholders (Canteen leadership, Foodbuy, Finance, HR) to drive strategic needs, user experience, efficiencies, and improved effectiveness.
B. Staff Management and Development
+ Team Leadership: Coach, develop, and mentor microkitchen, warehousing, fleet and maintenance/repair teams to provide them with the necessary guidance and tools to achieve success.
+ Labor efficiency&Organizational effectiveness:Develop scheduling with a focus on maximizing labor hours and minimizing inefficiency. Drive for high performance and standards, ensure adherence to key policies and provide structured performance feedback, in partnership with HR.
+ Operational Support: Work closely with senior support teams (Finance, IT, Systems Implementation) to ensure support management operates at full capacity.
+ Operational excellence: Visit facilities and units to ensure alignment of goals and a focus on continuous improvement
C. Client Relations and Experience
+ Relationship Management: Strengthen existing client relationships through strong and impactful interaction with clients, gathering feedback and following up with a responsive can-do attitude
+ Decisive Action:Respond quickly and decisively to all client requests with supporting data and action plans to ensure a satisfied client and user base.
Minimum Requirements: What You'll Bring
We are looking for a highly accomplished executive who can step into this role and immediately drive impact.
+ Education: Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not essential
+ Experience: Ten to fifteen years (10–15+) of related industry experience, ideally in a high-volume, multi-site, service-focused, or CPG environment.
