As a Sedgwick Government Solutions Senior Document Management Service Assistant, you will work in our office in Dublin, Ohio from 8-4 pm Eastern.
The Senior Document Management Service Assistant is responsible for providing support and at times refresher training to Document Management Assistants. This position is responsible for monitoring and at times acting as primary to assign work tasks, completing daily inventory metric reporting, and is seen as a Subject Matter Expert for Document Management Department workflows and processes. The Senior role will also be responsible for providing cross-departmental support to members of the World Trade Center Health Program and is responsible for sorting medical documents and organizing them in a proprietary electronic management system. The position assists with clarifying and preparing for scanning, imaging, and routing records of members.
Senior Document Management Service Assistant Responsibilities
+ Providing support to fellow department members on workflows, handling of mail, indexing, etc.
+ As needed, providing refresher training on standard operating procedures and team work instructions
+ Monitoring task production, assignments, and metrics
+ Acts as a back-up to team lead for assigning tasks to DM Assistants and completing daily inventory metric reporting
+ Acts a department SME for DM processes and systems
+ Assists in classifying, identifying, and routing records.
+ Prepares and scans documents.
+ Prepares documents for off-site storage and retention.
+ Transmits facsimiles.
+ Indexes documents
+ Prints and appropriately prepares letters to be sent in the mail
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
+ Supports the organization's quality program(s).
Senior Document Management Service Assistant Specialist Qualifications
+ A High School diploma or GED is required.
+ 1 year of clerical experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
+ Mailroom and document management experience is required
+ Good oral and written communication skills
+ PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
+ Strong organizational skills
+ Good interpersonal skills
+ Ability to work in a team environment
+ Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
+ U.S. Citizenship
+ Prior to hiring and training must be able to pass a preliminary credit and background check

Sedgwick Government Solutions provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in jurisdictions requiring pay transparency in job postings. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of a specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is ($12/hr. - $20/hr.).
