About the Role :

We re looking for a creative, organized, and collaborative Digital Content Strategist to join our team. This role will lead the development of content and strategies to support campaigns, elevate our storytelling and drive engagement with key audiences. This person will be responsible for planning, creating, and managing content across our internal and external channels, while working closely with our corporate channel leads to ensure alignment with brand voice and digital strategy.

The ideal candidate is both a storyteller and an organizer someone who can craft compelling copy and also manage the editorial calendar to keep a steady drumbeat of content.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Editorial Planning & Calendar

+ Own and manage the content editorial calendar across web, social, and internal channels.

+ Partner with campaign leads to develop content strategies that support our sector/strategy narratives and priority campaigns including features, social media, web, and other digital channels.

+ Track deadlines, approvals, and publishing schedules.

+ Content Development

+ Translate business priorities and complex topics into clear, compelling narratives across digital, social and traditional challenges.

+ Write, edit, and proofread copy for the website, blog, and landing pages.

+ Develop engaging, platform-appropriate copy for social media posts.

+ Create feature/brand journalism content for key internal and external campaigns, adapting content for different audiences and channels while maintaining consistent voice and tone.

+ Collaboration & Coordination

+ Partner with communications colleagues to design content strategies that support campaigns, thought leadership and employee/customer engagement

+ Partner with internal stakeholders (program leads, subject matter experts) to source content ideas.

+ Coordinate with corporate digital and social teams for publishing and channel best practices.

+ Ensure brand and compliance guidelines are met across all content.

+ Collaborate with designer to create high quality assets to support objectives

+ Analyze content performance and adjust the content strategy accordingly

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

+ 4 years of experience in content creation, marketing, or communications

+ Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies

+ Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills

+ Excellent project management and organizational skills

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

+ Experience with content strategy frameworks and tools (e.g., content calendars, style guides)

+ Familiarity with AI content generation tools

+ Experience with internal communications and stakeholder management

+ Background in tech or defense journalism is a plus

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $81156 - $137964

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
