• IT Project Coordinator

    Job Description

    A client is looking for an IT Project Coordinator to join their team and sit hybrid (fully onsite for first couple of months to get acclimated) in Harrison, NY. This person will be working on various projects in the IT infrastructure and networking space. They will be documenting the project lifecycle from start to finish for networking projects, which could include but are not limited to WAN installations or upgrades, VoIP implementations, switch upgrades, or firewall initiatives. They will also be documenting meeting notes, assisting Project Management with any coordination or communication with stakeholders, vendors, or internal team members. Once projects come to completion, the proper bills and credits must be submitted to corresponding vendors or internals as well. This person will also visit client sites in the local area occasionally to provide and gather project information so that they can communicate progress with the appropriate teams and the lead Project Manager. The perfect candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work successfully across functions. This person needs to be comfortable with receiving pay within the range of $30-34/hr based on experience level.

    Skills and Requirements

    2+ years of experience in an IT project coordinator or Jr. Project Manager role

     

    Experience with technical Network-specific projects in past role(s)

     

    Experience tracking deliverables for many projects simultaneously and being able to prioritize accordingly

     

    Experience documenting project lifecycle from start to finish

     

    Experience with billing or purchase orders with external vendors or customers

     

    Understanding of Network Fundamentals, with hands on experience preferred

     

    Strong attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills IT certifications (CCNA, CompTIA)

     

    Exposure to cybersecurity

     

    Experience working for an ISP, enterprise, non-profit or public organization

     

    PMP certification
