    Gainwell Technologies is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Regulatory Project Manager to lead CMS-driven change initiatives for the Alabama Medicaid program. This role will be responsible for managing regulatory compliance projects aligned with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines, including the Medicaid Enterprise Certification Toolkit (MECT) and MITA standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Medicaid enterprise modernization and certification processes, and will serve as a key liaison between Gainwell, state agencies, and CMS.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    10+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in Medicaid or Medicare programs.

     

    Proven experience with CMS certification processes and Medicaid enterprise modernization.

     

    Strong understanding of MITA and MECT frameworks.

     

    PMP certification or equivalent preferred.

     

    Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Office 365, and ALM tools (e.g., HP ALM).

     

    Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience working with Alabama Medicaid or similar state-level programs.

     

    Familiarity with Gainwell’s CMS Certification Practice and process improvement initiatives[4].

     

    Ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior project staff.
