Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a skilled .Net Programmer/Developer with expertise in .Net to join a prominent aerospace company located in Southern California. This role involves designing, programming, testing, implementing, documenting, and maintaining computing applications that support critical business functions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate end-user requirements, ensuring that solutions align with organizational goals. Responsibilities include writing and compiling code, constructing database objects based on documented designs, and analyzing technical specifications to meet software compatibility, security, and architectural needs. The developer will also modify and upgrade applications to enhance functionality, performance, and user experience, while identifying and resolving programming or architectural issues. Additional duties include reviewing system performance, recommending improvements, conducting application scans to address IT compliance and security requirements, and supporting application server setup in partnership with senior team members. Staying current with emerging technologies and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation are essential, as is supporting integration efforts involving both Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and custom in-house software applications

Skills and Requirements

Active DoD Top Secret clearance

5+ Years of software development experience with application integration and system architecture

5+ Years of software development in .Net technologies

3+ Years of Microsoft SharePoint

3+ Years writing database queries in SQL server or Oracle Security+ certification or ability to obtain post-start

5+ years' experience with Microsoft SharePoint development and administration

3+ years' experience with ColdFusion Development

3+ years of experience with web services and client-side technologies

3+ years of experience with UI frameworks such as jQuery, Angular, or ReactJS

3+ years of experience with HTML and CSS

3+ years of experience working in Agile development environments

3+ years of experience with configuration management

3+ years of experience in software requirements gathering and documentation

3+ years of experience using Git workflow
