We’re Hiring for Global Product Manager, Dewatering Integrated Drives!
THE ROLE:
The digital enablement team has some exciting opportunities to be on the cutting edge of our industry! We sit in the Water Solution and Services segment in Xylem and focus on delivering long term value to our customers.
The digital enablement team is looking for a team member who is passionate about building innovative products that empower our service teams to overcome a customer’s hardest challenge. Success in this role requires deep customer empathy, some industrial automation and/or pumping experience, sharp data analysis and an ability to collaborate effectively across teams. You are comfortable jumping into a big, ambiguous area and able to quickly get up to speed, finding new ways to add value for our customers and our team. You have a strong desire for marketing and change management. You will partner closely with the best people in the industry, and be expected to deliver results through influencing cross-functional teams.
CORE RESPONSIBILITES:
+ You will define the vision and roadmap for Dewatering integrated drive pumps
+ Manage the total life cycle of products and services for your portfolio
+ Deliver strategies that transfer risk from the customer and seek to learn fast from success or failure
+ Develop a deep understanding of the business, our customers, and the competitive landscape through market and customer research
+ Present to industry conferences and webinars on white papers and innovative solutions
+ Partner across engineering teams, design, marketing, and business planning to develop strategies, priorities, and roadmaps
+ Drive team execution on backlogs and roadmap, with clear prioritization and an urgency using agile methods
+ Define clear metrics and projected impact for all investments
+ Be accountable for the aftermarket, services and solutions that these products will enable
+ Foster an environment that encourages diversity of thought and an inclusive team culture
QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution, or equivalent. MBA preferred
+ A higher degree in Business Administration is preferred. Masters degree in Business Administration is desirable
+ A minimum of 5 to 10 years previous experience in product management in an industrial equipment environment with at least $25M responsibility.
+ Demonstrated experience working in an international environment in a matrix organization
+ Demonstrate excellent computer, communication, presentation, management and analytical skills. Be able to resolve difficult technical and business issues. Be a self-starter with high motivation to achieve goals.
+ Strong interpersonal, teamwork and problem-solving skills in order to effectively work with customers, business partners, staff and management from a variety of skill levels as well as different authority levels.
+ Ability to understand technical issues and understand impact on projects, and effectively communicate these issues and impact to direct reports as well as other project stakeholders.
+ Flexibility in terms of dealing with changing priorities and dealing with multiple projects simultaneously.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Fluent in English; multi-lingual capabilities desirable
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Project management skills with ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
+ Be a self-starter with high motivation skills

+ You would be expected to travel initially 75% of the time and then after onboarding drop to 25%

The estimated salary range for this position is $100,000 to $130 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience, and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range. At Xylem, we offer a competitive compensation package with a generous benefit package, including Medical, Dental, and Vision plans, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.
