Job Summary:
The Assistant Vice President (AVP), Patient Access is a senior leadership role within ProMedica’s Revenue Cycle Division, responsible for the strategic direction, operational oversight, and performance of all Patient Access functions across the entire health system. This role collaborates closely with senior leaders from Revenue Cycle and Operational divisions to drive excellence in front-end revenue cycle operations, including patient registration, point-of-service collections, insurance verification, and patient experience.
The AVP leads a large, high-performing team, oversees vendor partnerships, ensures regulatory compliance, and champions continuous improvement in workflows, technology integration, and customer service. This position plays a key role in optimizing financial performance, enhancing patient satisfaction, and ensuring efficient and compliant access processes across all facilities.
Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or other related area.
+ Minimum 8 years in Healthcare Revenue Cycle experience, 5 years of leadership experience and 5 years of Patient Access experience.
+ Direct, hands-on experience with EPIC EMR.
