_This position exists to coordinate and oversee the processes used to complete daily operations for Legal Counsel’s Office, including legal and administrative filings, data requests, technical processes, and support for all administrative, civil, and criminal proceedings for the Office of Inspector General (OIG)._
_Responsibilities include but are not limited to:_
+ Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of OIG Legal Division case flow. Supervise all OIG Legal Division legal process coordinators and _provide strategic leadership to staff providing services_ and administrative functions _across three business divisions within OIG Legal._
+ _Oversee the implementation, training, process documentation and maintenance of a case management tool for OIG Legal and the development of legal workflows in other OIG products and tools to support the changes and increased demands of the division._
+ _Coordinate the administrative activities of the legal process coordinator pool with the OIG Legal team, OIG Division leadership, Appeals Division, Commissioner’s Office, and Attorney General’s Office._
+ _Monitor performance by the OIG Legal Division and complete required reports on OIG Legal activities to appropriate senior management, and in collaboration with OIG Legal leadership, develop reports necessary for performance monitoring._
Minimum Qualifications

Demonstrated leadership experience*
*Leadership experience can include:
+ Experience as a supervisor, lead worker, team lead, project lead;
+ Completion of a State of Minnesota leadership program (e.g. ELI, L4);
+ A paid/unpaid position leading a program or chairing a committee (e.g. ERG) - experience must include:
Three (3) years of experience leading process development, implementation, and continuous improvement in a professional setting.
AND
Experience must demonstrate the following:
+ **T** _echnical skills sufficient to lead the implementation and continuous improvement of projects that interface with a variety of technical systems._
+ Oversee the development, ongoing review and auditing of operational procedures.
+ Manage training and professional development of staff.
Preferred Qualifications
+ _Knowledge of and skill in navigating NETStudy2.0, SharePoint, SSIS, and ELMS._
+ Experience with computer programs, including _Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, FileNet, AgileApps, SharePoint, and OneNote._
+ _Experience with process improvement methodologies including Agile, Lean, Six-Sigma, etc._
+ Knowledge of the MN Data Practices Act.
+ Knowledge of records retention policies and procedures, including litigation holds. Experience analyzing data, developing reports, and presenting findings to senior leadership. _Analytical skills in order to effectively and efficiently exercise the decision making function._
+ _Problem-solving abilities to solve pragmatic and legal process questions that implicate all major areas of OIG and Department policy and legal issues that pertain work of the OIG Legal Department._
+ Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
