In this position...
As the Staff Digital Transformation Technical Program Manager, you will be a key part of the team rebuilding of our end-to-end process and digital tools, across all skill teams for a new agile and autonomous organization within Ford. You will get to work with program management, marketing, engineering, supply chain, finance, manufacturing, materials handling, service, etc. to develop the key functions needed; digital transformation business leads to architect solutions; and IT leads to deliver digital solutions.
What you'll do...
Build multiyear strategic roadmap to move each capability to target maturity by vehicle development milestone
Partner with the ADVEV lead to further define the vehicle development process.
Define the end-to-end capabilities required to plan, engineer, validate, launch, and service vehicles.
Define maturity levels and exit criteria per vehicle development milestone (e.g., concept, design, validation, launch). Tie levels to measurable outcomes (quality, timing, cost, risk).
Establish KPIs, leading/lagging indicators
Lead the program management team interfacing with the Business Architecture activities
You'll have...
Bachelor's or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Proven experience in digital transformation or business transformation projects
Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager (5+ years).
Strong understanding of Business Capabilities development, and how to develop capability maturation roadmap.
Strong collaboration skills to integrate cross-functional teams
Strong communication and leadership skills
Familiar with the vehicle development process
Familiar with hardware and software product development process
