The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for a variety of financial duties surrounding the planning, forecasting, analysis, pricing, and reporting functions for the assigned business unit. This includes periodic reporting of financial results, variance analysis, forecasting, annual budgeting, data consolidation and special projects. This position will partner with divisional finance leaders and cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and analytics to support key decision making to help ensure that the categories objectives are achieved. Additionally, the position will actively participate in key finance functional initiatives. This position will play a key role for the category and heavily partner with the division’s General Management (GM) team as well as key functional leaders. The Sr Financial Analyst is expected to provide insightful analysis and decision support to the category leadership team on opportunities & risks, pricing & business proposals, rationalization & segmentation of existing customers/products, and evaluation of future & past investments.

**Salary, based on experience and other qualifications:** $73k to $124k Annually with additional bonus potential
Roles & Responsibilities:
+ Consolidates annual plan, monthly reporting and forecasting.
+ Performs monthly forecasting and analysis for elements of the P&L as well as validates accuracy and reasonableness of data.
+ Owns research and documentation of variance analyses to benchmarks.
+ Collaborates with the category sales, accounting and supply chain teams to report monthly results, future profitability forecast, key performance metrics, and annual objectives.
+ Supports the completion of division business presentations (budget, forecast, monthly and quarterly result reviews).
+ Works with the commercial and divisional teams on new business opportunities, trade ROI analysis and P&Ls.
+ Actively participates in monthly S&OP process providing feedback on changes based on recent results, trends, bids, and other activity occurring with customers in the category.
+ Supports the identification and communication of consolidated key drivers cross-functional leadership team; influences decisions that go along with them through value added analysis.
+ Collaborates and facilitates with the divisional team and functional groups (Sales, Marketing, Cost Accounting, Supply Chain, etc.) to ensure pricing strategies being executed meet both short-term and long-term financial and business objectives.
+ Collaborates with the FP&A team to identify opportunities to enhance, streamline and more effectively analyze and report on metrics and trends to improve results.
+ Ensures consistency of reporting and analysis across all categories in the Division.
+ Provides formal and informal training on financial concepts and systems to finance and cross functional team members.

Qualifications & Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field required
+ Four plus years of progressive finance work experience required; experience in CPG/Manufacturing environment is preferred
+ Experience with P&L management, knowledge of financial systems and general accounting concepts required
+ Experience accurately forecasting in a given area and understanding the key drivers of that area required
+ Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) required; Experience with SAP, BPC, BI, or other ERP systems is preferred
+ Experience leading smaller to medium projects from conception to completion
+ Self-motivated in a and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
+ Must be comfortable meeting deadlines, and able to prioritize tasks in a highly dynamic environment
+ Ability to independently research and resolve tasks with minimal supervision with awareness and motivation to collaborate when necessary
+ Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly, to both financial and non-financial audiences, and speak and write concisely and effectively, communicating in a timely manner
+ Problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills are required key personal attributes
+ Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity, change and a dynamic business environment
+ The successful candidate will have a reputation for integrity, initiative, perseverance, success, and confidentiality
+ Must enjoy working in a collaborative and team-oriented environment, and be comfortable interacting with varying levels of the organization and across different functional groups to complete projects and/or resolve organizational challenges
+ Travel not expected for this role
