    Boeing** **Commercial Airplanes (BCA)** is looking for a **Supply Chain Manager (Level K)** to support the **787 Supply Chain Team** based out of **North Charleston, South Carolina.

     

    Successful candidates will work with multiple functional groups to drive resolution to supplier constraints, and be experienced with the Supply Chain and Operations. We are seeking a talented individual to lead our team of analysts in supporting our company's growth and success. As the authorized agent responsible for managing all supplier-related activities, you will have the authority to commit company resources and make impactful decisions through contracts and agreements. With a focus on tactical management and procurement, you will oversee multiple disciplines and drive improvements in supply chain management and processes.     Position Responsibilities:

    + Leads a team of analyst to support business strategies

    + Tactical management of factory facing responsibilities

    + Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements

    + Manages employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes and supplier diversity

    + Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

    + Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

    + Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

    + Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

    + Manages, develops and motivates employees

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    + Bachelor’s degree or higher

    + 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Fulfillment, Engineering or Manufacturing

    + 3+ years of experience in a formal/informal leadership role

    + 3+ years of experience analyzing and applying metrics to enable key business decisions and process improvement

    + 3+ years of experience maintaining and/or developing Key Performance Indicators (KPI) metrics

    + 3+ years of experience applying LEAN principles and/or Standard/Standardized work

    + 3+ years of Project Management experience utilizing standard project management tools

    + Ability to travel up to 20% of the time domestically and internationally

     

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    + 3+ years of experience working directly with suppliers

    + Experience with Cognos, Velocity, Order Manager, ERPLN, Tableau

    + Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and across business units

    + Experience establishing relationships and strong on-going communication with customers, suppliers and/or vendors

    + Experience with rate and capacity processes

    Summary Pay Range: $110,500 - $149,500
