**Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), Maritime and Intelligence Systems (M&IS)** seeks an **Entry Level or** **Associate Manufacturing Engineer** **(Electrical/Electronics)** (Level 1 or 2), to join our team in **Lemont Furnace and Smithfield, Pennsylvania** .

This position will support growth of the electronics and electrical manufacturing facility which supports defense programs from seabed to space.

Position Responsibilities:

+ Assists in the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies.

+ Participates as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) in the integration of technical solutions.

+ Works with others to develop, identify and implement conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build.

+ Assists in implementing manufacturing plans.

+ Resolves technical problems and assists in the implementation of new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts.

+ Assists in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies.

+ Interfaces with professional associations, suppliers, IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

+ Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

+ 2+ years of related work experience or combination or education and experience

+ Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance

+ Experience in electrical/electronics manufacturing

+ Experience or coursework in 3D modeling applications such as Catia, Siemens NX, or SolidWorks

+ Experience or coursework using manufacturing execution systems such as TipQA Shopfloor Execution

+ Experience or coursework in lean manufacturing

+ Experience or coursework in statistical process analysis

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Entry Level (Level 1) Summary pay range: $63,750 - $86,250

Associate (Level 2) Summary pay range: $75,650 - $102,350
