As a **Security Officer - Tech/Media Unarmed Patrol** in **Woodland Hills, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and respond to situations as they arise, all while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as directed.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel as necessary.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Document incidents, observations, and activities according to site-specific protocols and Allied Universal policies.

+ Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address concerns or questions related to security-related matters on site.

+ Support Allied Universal's commitment to customer service and security-related best practices within a tech, media, and telecom environment.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ Experience with alarm panels is preferred.

+ Valid CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
