Summary
The Soybean Meal and Hulls Trade Execution Merchandiser is responsible for the complete execution process for soybean meal and hull contracts, ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely fulfillment of all sales commitments. This role is responsible for aligning sales, transportation, crush plants operations, and customers. The planner is responsible for coordinating shipments, managing commercial inventory position, resolving execution issues, and driving process optimization to ensure a seamless product flow and customer satisfaction.
The salary range for this position is $63,000 - $97,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
+ Manage daily trade execution and logistics coordination in fulfillment of contract terms for internal and external customers.
+ Schedule and monitor shipments, ensuring accurate and on-time delivery to meet customer needs.
+ Manage inventory positions and reconcile product movements between plants and customers.
+ Act as main liaison between commercial traders, plant operations, logistics, and support service teams.
+ Be the point of contact person for customers and suppliers for all logistics and documentation related matters.
+ Communicate proactively with Trading Team daily execution updates, product availability insights, and logistical/ transportation constraints.
+ Track and report key execution metrics (Freight changes, demurrage, order irregularities, etc).
+ Support stakeholders after hours and weekends as needed.
+ Identify and implement process improvements to enhance execution efficiency and customer satisfaction.
+ Other ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.
Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, AgriBusiness, Logistics, or Supply Chain. 3-5 years of experience in commodity execution, logistics, or operations (preferably in Ag commodities or feed ingredients).
An ideal candidate should have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment with a desire to continuously improve trade execution efficiencies and asset utilization while providing superior customer service to internal and external customers. This person should be highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, and process-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. This person should have strong organizational and communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively across teams.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Able to move freely throughout production facilities and customer locations. Position is office based in an open curbicle environment.
