    The Civil Engineer will execute technical work assignments individually or as part of a project team. The position is open to engineers with various levels of experience, and responsibilities will adjust based on licensure status and experience level. The ideal candidate should be working towards or possess an EIT or PE certification, depending on their experience. This role can involve work in transportation, water/wastewater, municipal, or land development sectors.

    Responsibilities

    + Execute technical work assignments individually or as part of a project team.

    + Adapt responsibilities based on licensure status and experience level.

    + Engage in projects related to transportation, water/wastewater, municipal, or land development.

    + Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for design and project execution.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

    + EIT or PE certification preferred based on experience.

    + Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

    + 2-10+ years of professional experience.

    + Experience or interest in Land Development, Municipal, Water Resources, or Transportation.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with Revit and other design software.

    + Interest in stormwater management, site development, drainage, and grading.

    + Proven capability as a Civil Designer or Engineer.

    Work Environment

    The work environment offers a family feel within a large local firm. The dress code is business casual. The organization is known for its presence in the Greater Philadelphia Area, with multiple offices across the region. Employees receive benefits such as vacation and holiday pay, with up to 2 weeks of vacation and 6 major holidays during the first year. There is a strong emphasis on training and mentoring engineers to progress towards their EIT and eventually become a PE.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Britain, Pennsylvania.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $45.00/hr.
