Description

We are looking for a skilled Assistant to support the smooth execution of an event in Houston, Texas. In this contract role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring a seamless experience for attendees by managing registration, addressing questions, and handling event-related tasks. This position requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome attendees and guide them through the registration process efficiently.

• Utilize an iPad to check in guests by entering their last name and printing their badges.

• Address inquiries from event participants and provide clear and helpful responses.

• Ensure the registration desk operates smoothly during peak times with a high volume of attendees.

• Maintain an attentive demeanor and provide exceptional customer service throughout the event.

• Collaborate with event staff to ensure a positive experience for all participants.

• Adapt to a fast-paced environment and resolve issues promptly.

• Follow the event's protocols and procedures for registration and attendee management.

Requirements • Proficiency in using an iPad for registration and data entry.

• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with event attendees.

• Exceptional customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for participants.

• Ability to work in a detail-oriented environment requiring business attire.

• Comfortable working in hotel ballrooms or similar office settings.

• Capacity to manage a high volume of attendees efficiently and accurately.
