Description

Robert Half has partnered with a hospitality company in Greenwood Village in search of a Staff Accountant! The Staff Accountant position is paying $60,000-$70,000!

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for the following:

+ Create and set up new vendor accounts while adhering to established documentation guidelines.

+ Conduct weekly check runs and record manual payments to ensure timely processing.

+ Examine vendor accounts payable statements, request missing invoices, and resolve discrepancies.

+ Record daily general ledger entries for cash, credit card, and sales transactions across multiple locations.

+ Reconcile balance sheets for cash and credit card accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately posted.

+ Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly sales reports to license locations in accordance with agreements.

+ File monthly sales tax returns with city and state authorities.

+ Provide necessary documentation and assistance during annual audits.

Requirements for the Staff Accountant include:

+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

+ 1+ years of accounting experience

+ Great Plains experience is nice to have

+ Proficient in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOUPs, etc.)
