    Jennifer Fukumae with Robert Half’s Finance & Accounting Division is partnering with a rapidly growing venture capital firm focused on investing in technology-driven companies that are transforming traditional industries. The firm manages over $1.5 billion in AUM across multiple funds and continues to scale with new fund launches, a strong LP base, and top-decile performance.

To support its continued growth and institutionalization, the firm is seeking a Head of Finance & Operations who will take full ownership of all finance, accounting, operations, and back-office functions.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Oversee all aspects of fund and management company finance, accounting, and reporting.

    + Partner with Investor Relations and Capital Formation on fund structures, investor reporting, and LP communications.

    + Collaborate with the investment team on deal execution, legal coordination, and operational due diligence.

    + Maintain and enhance firmwide operations, compliance, and internal controls.

    + Partner with Technology and Data teams to leverage automation and improve workflow efficiency.

    + Lead and develop a growing finance and operations team.

    Requirements

    + 6–10+ years of experience in venture capital, private equity, fund administration, or a senior finance/operations role within an investment firm.

    + Deep understanding of fund mechanics, legal structures, investor reporting, and compliance.

    + Proven ability to take ownership of the finance and operations function end-to-end with limited oversight.

    + Strong financial and operational acumen with a track record of building scalable systems and processes.

    + Collaborative, proactive, and excited to help shape the foundation of a growing platform.
