Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our client's team on a long-term contract basis in Tigard, Oregon. This role involves managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with various departments to ensure smooth financial operations. Responsibilities:

• Record and manage daily financial transactions to ensure accurate bookkeeping.

• Perform online banking tasks, including monitoring and reconciling accounts.

• Oversee loan funding processes and track loans serviced by external providers.

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions efficiently.

• Manage W-9 forms and ensure compliance with regulations.

• Compare invoices with servicing reports to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.

• Collaborate with team members and departments to maintain seamless financial operations.

• Utilize QuickBooks Enterprise to manage accounting tasks effectively.

Requirements • Proficiency in preparing and posting journal entries to maintain financial accuracy.

• Strong understanding of general ledger functions and processes.

• Experience managing accounts payable and accounts receivable operations.

• Familiarity with online banking systems and related financial tasks.

• Skilled in using QuickBooks Enterprise for accounting and financial management.

• Ability to handle and manage loan servicing and funding processes.

• Knowledge of managing W-9 forms and ensuring compliance.

• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills to compare and reconcile invoices.
