Casey Auto Group is a seeking a detail-oriented and versatile Part-Time Administrative Assistant to join the team at our auto finance division, Auto Credit of Virginia. This position is crucial to our daily operations, providing comprehensive administrative support across multiple departments, including cashier operations, insurance and title processing, account management, legal administration, collections, and general management. Position Details Detail Information Job Title Administrative Assistant (Part-Time) Compensation $16.00 per hour Schedule Monday-Friday, 5-hour shifts with two options: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM or 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM Weekend Occasional Saturday coverage for the cashier position may be required. If you work a Saturday, you will receive a day off during the week. Summary of Position The Administrative Assistant ensures smooth workflow and organizational efficiency by offering flexible support and maintaining effective coordination between teams. You will be a crucial team member, assisting as needed in various departments to ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Cashier and Payment Operations: Responsible for handling and managing various forms of payments from customers, including cash, credit cards, money orders, MoneyGram, and checks. Operate the credit card machine and integrated system software to accurately process payments. * Clerical and Administrative Support: Provide essential clerical support across departments. This includes performing data entry of customer information into multiple computer applications, updating statistical spreadsheets, and scanning documents/files into the cloud data filing system. * Reporting & Compliance: Assist with Insurance audits and complete weekly reports as needed for the Insurance and Title Department, Collections Department, and Legal Department. * Customer Communication & Collections: Answer and direct calls professionally using a multi-line telephone system. Perform current and past due customer calling as needed. Conduct skip tracing on delinquent and charged-off accounts. * General Support: Assist the supervisor and office staff with various tasks as needed. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and Experience: * Cashier, customer service, debt collections, bank teller experience, or dealership experience preferred. * Must be proficient in data entry with the ability to work efficiently between multiple windows and PC applications. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. * Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment. * Strong verbal and written communication skills.
