Our work depends on a Vice President (VP) of Strategic Programs joining our team to support our Federal Health division. This position provides an exciting opportunity to play a leadership role in serving our customers by supporting critical Health & Human Services specific science and mission challenges. The breadth of our portfolio and the scale of our company ensure that you can take on new challenges and new roles as our business and mission-impact expands.

You should have a proven record of supporting regulatory scientific strategy, running Profit & Loss (P&L), delivering Real World Evidence platforms, driving scientific growth opportunities, and an ability to work collaboratively as part of a larger Federal Health division across all Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) Operating Divisions and other Federal health agencies. A demonstrated customer intimacy and in particular, an understanding of the strategic direction for OpDivs within HHS (such as CMS, FDA, CDC, or AHA) is very important, as is experience in the commercial biomedical industry. This detailed understanding of regulatory policy and commercial implementation is key to the success of this role in driving results.

In this role, a typical day will include:

+ Driving strategy and developing roadmap for Real World Evidence / Real World Data platforms and analytics

+ Providing thought leadership around enhancements that streamline authorization and workflow solutions designed to accelerate health care solutions for Federal health agencies and their stakeholders

+ Developing business for biomedical, regulatory science, person-centered care opportunities across Federal health agencies

+ Maturing teams that deliver metrics driven results for mission transformation and rapid program implementation to effectuate policy changes

+ Partnering with clients and GDIT leadership to oversee related programs from inception through completion; ensure the performance of GDIT programs exceed expectations

+ Partnering with leadership across GDIT’s Federal Health division to enhance existing programs and support strategic capture for new business opportunities

+ Establishing and maintaining C-level relationships across the Federal Health portfolio

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

+ Doctoral Degree in a life science or related discipline and a combined 15+ years of experience (or equivalent combination) in technical and program leadership as well as business development

+ Demonstrated expertise in regulatory science and policy within commercial and Governmental roles

+ Experience collaborating with HHS, Veterans Affairs and Department of Defense health components and delivering a strategy to integrate

+ Experience creating strategy Real World Data infrastructure in a Governmental setting. Demonstrated expertise in collecting, developing and utilizing Real World Evidence (RWE) in regulatory settings

+ Excellence in communications, presentations, and strategy development are all paramount to your success; this position will interact with all levels of customer and GDIT leadership, and must be able to work effectively within this environment

+ Location: Hybrid position split between remote and one of our GDIT offices in the DMV area or travel to customer sites

+ Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability with Federal Health agencies, many of which require residency in the US at least three out of the last five years.

The likely salary range for this position is $212,500 - $287,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
