    Data Center Technician Opportunities – Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin

    Overview

    We are seeking experienced Data Center Technicians to join a high-performing IT team supporting large-scale GPU deployments in an enterprise data center environment. Multiple levels are available—Lead Technician (L4), Technician (L3), and Technician (L2)—with opportunities to work on advanced infrastructure and contribute to mission-critical operations.

    Open Roles & RequirementsLead Technician (L4)

    + 5+ years of leadership or management experience

    + Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple high-stress projects

    + Experience data center operations and GPU deployments

    Technician (L3)

    + 5+ years of dedicated data center experience

    + Expertise in troubleshooting large GPU deployments

    + Advanced break-fix and rack deployment skills

    Technician (L2)

    + 3+ years of data center experience

    + Solid understanding of hardware installation, cabling, and troubleshooting

    Shifts Available

    + A Side Days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & every other Wednesday | 6 AM – 6 PM

    + A Side Nights: Same days | 6 PM – 6 AM

    + B Side Days: Thursday, Friday, Saturday & every other Wednesday | 6 AM – 6 PM

    + B Side Nights: Same days | 6 PM – 6 AM

    Key Responsibilities

    + Deploy and configure GPUs, servers, and network equipment

    + Perform break-fix tasks across hardware and cabling

    + Manage tickets using ITSM tools

    + Rack and stack fully populated GPU/network racks

    + Interpret BOMs and ensure material accuracy

    + Install, test, and label copper and fiber infrastructure

    + Handle optical modules (SFPs, QSFPs) and clean fibers (SC, LC, MPO)

    + Collaborate with network admins for troubleshooting and configuration

    + Lead build activities and ensure alignment with data center standards

    + Document progress using MS Office and customer tracking tools

    + Travel as required

    Required Skills & Experience

    + 3–10+ years of deployment and/or break-fix experience in a data center

    + Strong knowledge of Ethernet cabling (Cat5, Cat6, SM/MM fiber, MPO)

    + Experience with GPU deployment (preferred but not required)

    + Familiarity with DC power systems and telecom engineering designs

    + Excellent communication and documentation skills

    Top Skills We’re Looking For

    + 3–7+ years of hands-on data center technician experience

    + GPU deployment experience (highly desirable)

    + Hardware installation, cabling, and troubleshooting expertise

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $49.50/hr.
