We are looking for:
Your mission is to implement Syensqo’s Consumer Care strategy, by developing a business with contract manufacturers in North America.
The North America Sales Manager, Contract Manufacturing will be responsible for developing and executing our Contract Manufacturer Strategy. You will coordinate all communication and oversee all short-term projects and long-term strategic priorities for CM accounts. You will manage an existing base & develop new business on a directed and non-directed basis. This includes gathering business information, developing commercial tactical plans, and executing these plans to generate expanded growth for the company.
You will work with the regional NA Business Development Managers and our Global Marketing & R&I organization to leverage our operational marketing and research initiatives to deliver new sales with profitable contribution margins.

+ Build and maintain strong relationships through proactive communication and regular visits to discuss existing business & commercial opportunities in targeted applications.
+ Act as a key contact point for customers and educate them on products, applications, and trends.
+ Continuously monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategy and identify new opportunities.
+ Evaluate and propose innovative solutions for customer problems and coordinate with internal resources (R&I, etc.) when needed to meet customer requests/demands and ensure issues are resolved
+ Evaluate and propose innovative solutions for customer challenges, leveraging internal resources to ensure customer satisfaction.

You will bring:
With a strong development mindset, strategic thinking, and sales/technology/formulation background, the North America Sales Manager, Contract Manufacturing interacts with multiple stakeholders both internally (sales, marketing, R&I, regulatory) as well as externally, positioning Syensqo as an innovation specialty ingredients supplier and solutions provider.
+ Sales experience in the Contract Manufacturing space or direct experience working within a contract manufacturer.
+ Experience with selling in Consumer Care products, and development of a 5-year strategic roadmap for growth.
+ Act as a key contact point for customers and educate them on products, applications, and trends.
+ Achieve KPI objectives according to global marketing & pricing strategy, as well as commercial guidelines.
+ Design and update the Key Account Plan (KAP) as needed.
+ Maintain and continuously improve knowledge about products, applications, and markets in the industry
+ Scientific and technical background in chemistry, formulation, and consumer markets.
+ Business/Sales background, with 5 years of sales or marketing experience in the Consumer Care market
+ Hunter / entrepreneurial spirit, driven by the delivery of business results. Strong team player and ability to navigate complex organizations.
+ Strong communication skills, ability to create presentations, communicate marketing and technical information to a broad audience.

+ The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $108,000.00 to $135,000.00 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
+ 16, or more, weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulations

Additional information:
Hybrid role. Must be available and able to visit on-site labs.
