Marketing Strategy Lead (603) - SMB Card Acquisitions Marketing
The Paid Media Acquisition Strategy Lead is a data-driven strategist responsible for designing and evolving the end-to-end paid media acquisition blueprint-spanning paid search, affiliate, programmatic display, and paid social channels. You will craft channel playbooks, set KPI targets (CPA, ROAS, LTV), embed risk and compliance guardrails, and orchestrate cross-functional teams to execute high-impact campaigns at scale.
Job Responsibilities
+ Channel Strategy Development - Define and document paid search, affiliate, programmatic, and paid social acquisition frameworks - Establish audience segmentation, bidding approaches, budget allocation models, and risk/compliance checkpoints
+ Cross-Functional Partnership & Governance - Lead strategic alignment forums with horizontal partners: Creative, UX, Legal, and Finance - Translate strategy into clear briefs, roadmaps, and governance processes to ensure on-time, on-budget, and compliant execution - Chair weekly strategy reviews, surface risks early, and adjust tactics to maintain performance and guardrail adherence
+ Strategy-to-Execution Enablement - Collaborate with Media Buying specialists and external agencies to operationalize channel playbooks - Oversee creation of channel-specific assets (keyword sets, affiliate decks, audience targeting, creative optimization) with internal Creative and Execution teams
+ Performance Oversight & Continuous Improvement - Define reporting cadence and KPI dashboards; partner with Analytics to automate insights and anomaly detection - Lead quarterly strategy retrospectives and roadmap refreshes; embed learnings into next-cycle plans - Proactively identify emerging paid media trends, platforms, and risk considerations to keep Chase at the forefront
Required Qualifications & Skills
• 5+ years in paid media acquisition strategy roles, with deep expertise in paid search and affiliate ecosystems
• Demonstrated success designing multi-channel acquisition blueprints that hit CPA/ROAS/LTV targets at scale
• Experience building governance structures that balance growth with regulatory and risk requirements
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder-management skills in a matrixed enterprise environment
• Advanced analytical toolkit: Google Analytics, SQL, Tableau/Looker, Excel; familiarity with attribution modeling
• Exceptional written and verbal communication-able to translate complex strategy into concise briefs and roadmaps
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or related field (MBA a plus)
