Calibration Technician manages and performs the repair and calibration of measuring and test equipment (M&TE) along with various hand gauging.

Primary Responsibilities:

+ Assures that all M&TE meets requirements as specified in the Quality Manual, Aerospace Standard and Industry requirements.

+ Services all incoming M&TE

+ Determines suitability for calibration, repairs when within the capability of Metrology, and calibrates M&TE per the Quality Program and Industry guidelines.

+ Coordinates with team members to ensure all due and coming due inspection gauging/equipment is properly repaired/calibrated in a timely manner.

+ Troubleshoot equipment as required.

+ Willing to support fluctuating business needs including overtime support as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

+ Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience

+ Basic knowledge of hand gauging, M&TE, and inspection methods.

+ Mechanical aptitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Prior hands on calibration experience

+ Basic Computer skills and ability to learn/use computer applications.
