Chevron is accepting online applications for the position **Specialist Environment - Air (BWON, TRI and AER)** through **11/10/2025** at **11:59 p.m.** (PST).
The Specialist Environment Air reports to the El Segundo Refinery Regulatory and Compliance Manager and plays a key role in maintaining compliance with air related Chevron and regulatory requirements
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
• Provides Benzene Waste Operations NESHAP regulations (BWON), Toxics Release Inventory regulations(TRI) and Annual Emissions Report (AER) technical support to the Refinery
• Provides operational guidance for air compliance and air sampling
• Undertakes air data QA/QC and air emissions calculations
• Prepares and submits Chevron and regulatory compliance reports
• Co-ordinates the completion of compliance tasks
• Develops and delivers training materials
Required Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science or other related scientific disciplines
• Quantified experience: minimum 7 years' experience in air regulation, permitting, and compliance role
• Experience in interpreting and complying with environmental regulations and implementing programs/procedures for sustained compliance
• Air emissions estimations knowledge / experience for emission sources common to the oil and gas industry
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong computing and use of Microsoft applications skills (i.e. excel, word, outlook, teams, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience working collaboratively with regulators
• Ability to simplify complex regulatory information for stakeholders
• Prior experience conducting in person training with workers
Relocation Options:
Relocation **may be** considered within Chevron parameters.

+ The anticipated salary range for this position is $101,700 - $175,200
